ICC (Innovative and Creative Circle) or QCC (Quality Control Cycle) is a great practice or tool which can be used to incite innovative and creativity inside any type of organization.

As for general knowledge purpose, ICC/QCC is part of the recognized TQM (Total Quality Management) besides 5-S (Structurize, Systemize, Sanitize, Standardize, and Self-discipline) and BPR (Business Process Re-engineering).

ICC is the term introduced by MPC (Malaysia Productivity Center) to organizations inside Malaysia. ICC/QCC is a small group of employees, usually coming from the same work area who voluntarily meets on a regular basis to identify, investigate, analyze and solve their work-related problems together in order to contribute to the improvement of the organization actively. It also helps respect humanity and to build a cheerful workgroup through the development of the human resource infinite potential.

Another benefit of ICC/QCC is an improved two-way communication within organization. The management becomes more concerned with the staff problems and, in turn, the staff becomes aware of the day-to-day problems of running an organization. It is common to see a boost up in communication between departments or sections.

 

QCC is a must have tool for quality assurance for industrial output inside any organization.
